Influenc\u00e9 par la Pop anglaise des ann\u00e9es 80 et 90, des Smiths \u00e0 Belle &amp; Sebastian, Somehow distille une musique devenue atypique, vintage, rococco et donc totalement en avance sur son \u00e9poque !<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apr\u00e8s <strong><em>O<\/em><\/strong><span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><strong><em>ver the raindrops<\/em><\/strong>, sorti en 2007 chez Ohayo Records, Somehow repasse en autoproduction, avec<em><strong> The Desert of Wasted<\/strong><\/em>. Toujours inspir\u00e9 par ses vielles idoles anglo-saxonnes, qui vont sans doute de <strong>Joy Division<\/strong> \u00e0 <strong>Morrissey<\/strong>, Erwan poursuit son travail de d\u00e9construction de la Pop, en proposant un style beaucoup plus low-fi, \u00e9pur\u00e9, pour ne pas dire simpliste. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 42px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=2327046208\/size=small\/bgcol=333333\/linkcol=e99708\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/somehow.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-desert-of-wasted-time\">The Desert of Wasted Time by Somehow<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">On y retrouve des sons familiers de claviers et de basses, une allure et une atmosph\u00e8re toute particuli\u00e8re de dandy anglais, une petite folie ordinaire en quelque sorte. Un peu comme si <strong>Interpol<\/strong> &#8211; mais non ils ne peuvent pas \u00eatre am\u00e9ricains &#8211; avait d\u00e9pos\u00e9 les amplis et avait enregistr\u00e9 avec <strong>Neil Hannon<\/strong>,\u00a0 p\u00e9riode\u00a0<strong><i>A Short Album About Love<\/i><\/strong>, mais dans un esprit d\u00e9finitivement minimaliste.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Petit \u00e0 petit, l&rsquo;oiseau fait son nid, et<em> d&rsquo;une mani\u00e8re ou d&rsquo;une autre<\/em>, mais surtout d&rsquo;une autre, <strong>Somehow<\/strong> nous livre sa propre lecture de la Pop des ann\u00e9es 2010. Na\u00efve et spontan\u00e9e, cette relecture a de quoi surprendre. C&rsquo;est tellement rare que cela en est jouissif. La derni\u00e8re fois, ce devait \u00eatre avec l&rsquo;album <strong><em>Freaks<\/em><\/strong> de <strong>Pulp<\/strong>.
