Un premier mini LP sorti en 2012, d\u00e9j\u00e0, fixait les fondements du son de Soundcrawler, un grunge metal sous tension, rappelant les albums d&rsquo;<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><strong>Alice in Chains<\/strong>. La couverture de l&rsquo;album apportait le compl\u00e9ment propice \u00e0 l&rsquo;imaginaire que procure cette musique d&rsquo;un autre monde, sans doute proche de ceux invent\u00e9s par Frank Herbert ou Georges Lucas.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0px none; width: 344px; height: 30px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=2696422595\/size=small\/bgcol=333333\/linkcol=e99708\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/soundcrawler.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-dead-end-host\">The Dead-end Host by SOUNDCRAWLER<\/a><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>The Dead-End Host<\/em><\/strong>, plus long de 3 titres, \u00e9tend le champ des possibles, avec un son lourd, une voix grave, cass\u00e9e, trainante, celle de <strong>R\u00e9my Pocquet<\/strong>, souvent appuy\u00e9 par le backing vocal des autres musiciens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;album est une prolongation du premier, sous le th\u00e8me du <em><strong>Sandcrawler<\/strong><\/em> (emprunt\u00e9 \u00e0 la saga Starwars ?) et se divise en deux parties, <em><strong>Wandering<\/strong><\/em> (Errance) et <strong><em>Awakening<\/em><\/strong> (Reveil). La seconde partie se veut de fait un peu plus agressive que la premi\u00e8re (malgr\u00e9 le titre<em> A God to Feed<\/em>), en d\u00e9butant sur\u00a0<em>Souls From the Trash<\/em>, un titre intrigant, par ses textes sombres et son atmosph\u00e8re pesante (\u00ab\u00a0<em>Don&rsquo;t think or you will be <\/em><em>The next condemned soul<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0).\u00a0<em>Infinite Genocide <\/em>entretient la tension, la puissance avec un rythme saccad\u00e9 et des textes toujours aussi inqui\u00e9tants, dans lesquels il est question de guerre, de cimeti\u00e8re et de destruction. Un univers pour le moins troublant, noir, qui se termine pourtant sur un instru aux claviers,\u00a0<em>And All the Seconds Left<\/em>, en forme d&rsquo;apaisement final. La fin de ce monde imiginaire ?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;album est sorti quelques mois avant le retour de Mad Max sur les \u00e9crans&#8230; Il aurait parfaitement pu en \u00eatre la Bande Originale, du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin !
