Il s\u2019est aussi illustr\u00e9 comme membres de groupes tels que Mobiil, Psykick Lyrikah ou Bed.<br \/>\nApres avoir enregistr\u00e9 quelques disques au rayon classique ou bande originale (de spectacle), Olivier Mellano s\u2019essaie sur un v\u00e9ritable album solo, au rayon Rock cette fois. Baptis\u00e9 <b><i>MellaNoisEscape<\/i><\/b>, cet album surprend par son \u00e9clectisme et ses \u00e9chapp\u00e9es noisy, qui nous ram\u00e8nent 20 ans en arriere, et nous conduisent sur des montagnes russes. Les compositions se veulent en effet autant Pop que Rock, autant Post que Noisy. Parfois vertigineux ! (<i>We are the Fuse, Sea of Noise<\/i>).<br \/>\nSur cet album, on y d\u00e9couvre aussi la voix d\u2019Olivier Mellano, qui nous est moins famili\u00e8re que son jeu de guitare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/87993434\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Choisissant l\u2019anglais, par pudeur ou timidit\u00e9 peut-\u00eatre, Olivier se r\u00e9v\u00e8le un bon chanteur, aid\u00e9 par des m\u00e9lodies \u00e9videntes, \u00e0 l\u2019instar de titres comme <i>The Best Death<\/i> ou de l\u2019hypnotique <i>So Wide<\/i>, qu\u2019on pourrait classer quelque part entre <b>Mogwai<\/b> et <b>Jesus &amp; Mary Chains<\/b>. En fin d\u2019album, il propose une nouvelle version de <i>Dead Sparkling Stars<\/i>, un ancien titre, d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, lors de son spectacle en 2006, aux Trans, et repris sur l\u2019album <b><i>La chair des anges<\/i><\/b>. Les cordes ont disparu, la chanteuse lyrique aussi, pour permettre au titre de se fondre dans l\u2019univers singulier du MellaNoisEscape.<br \/>\nUn album aux m\u00e9lodies impeccables et aux atmosph\u00e8res multiples qui r\u00e9v\u00e8lent d\u2019autres talents d\u2019Olivier Mellano, insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9s du grand public.
