Dissimul\u00e9e derri\u00e8re le pseudo\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>I Speak Machine<\/strong><\/span><em><b>, la musicienne r\u00e9v\u00e8le\u00a0un univers d\u00e9finitivement indus.\u00a0<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Introduit par son titre \u00e9ponyme, <em>WAR<\/em>\u00a0semble le r\u00e9sultat d&rsquo;un travail de studio complexe, compos\u00e9 de couches sonores superpos\u00e9es qui rappelle les travaux de Trent Reznor s&rsquo;il avait eu, en plus, l&rsquo;occasion de travailler avec <strong>Nina Hagen<\/strong> ou <strong>Peaches<\/strong>. Ce premier titre est court, rapide, r\u00e9p\u00e9titif. Il pose les bases de l&rsquo;album, avant de se poursuivre sur une piste plus hypnotique encore,\u00a0<em>Left for Dead (War Mix)<\/em>.\u00a0 La voix de Tara Bush est incantatoire, suspendue au dessus d&rsquo;un monde apocalyptique. Les textes sont sombres : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Left me for dead a little death\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Po\u00e9tiques, mais sombres : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Crawl on hot coals, Walk on water,\u00a0Bathe me hellfire,\u00a0Take this girl higher\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Et toujours r\u00e9p\u00e9titifs. Tout comme les percussions qui les accompagnent,\u00a0m\u00e9talliques et agressifs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mais dans ce d\u00e9ferlement sonore, les compositions sont parfois tr\u00e8s acad\u00e9miques, avec des couplets et des refrains, et m\u00eames des m\u00e9lodies assez accessibles, comme sur <em>Bloodletting (The Vampire Song)<\/em>, un titre d&rsquo;une rare efficacit\u00e9, comme sait les enregistrer parfois Marilyn Manson, dont la proximit\u00e9 apparait par petites touches ici et l\u00e0, tout au long de cet album.\u00a0\u00a0<em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OR_UfTzjf9A\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Radical de prime abord, cet album r\u00e9v\u00e8le diff\u00e9rentes facettes de sa cr\u00e9atrice, Tara Bush : po\u00e9tique, sensuelle, mystique, \u00e0 l&rsquo;instar du titre <em>I see you<\/em>, plus a\u00e9rien et introspectif que les autres.
