La Passerelle nous proposait une soir\u00e9e plac\u00e9e sous les auspices du post punk et de la cold wave. Au programme : Frustration et The Automatists qui nous ont offert 2 excellentes prestations, et une tr\u00e8s tr\u00e8s belle ambiance !<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

THE AUTOMATISTS<\/span>

The Automatists nous\u00a0font l’honneur d’ouvrir cette tr\u00e8s belle soir\u00e9e. La formation originaire de Thionville lance les\u00a0festivit\u00e9s avec \u00ab\u00a0Project Ozma\u00a0\u00bb. Accompagn\u00e9 par les applaudissements, \u00ab\u00a0Wolves\u00a0\u00bb est encha\u00een\u00e9, suivi de \u00ab\u00a0The Richest Man Of The World\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Bad Queen\u00a0\u00bb. Bonsoir ! On s’appelle The Automatists !<\/em> \u00ab\u00a0Against The Light\u00a0\u00bb est ensuite annonc\u00e9, et le show se poursuit avec \u00ab\u00a0Lay On His Corpse\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0School Lunch Ticket\u00a0\u00bb. Des croas<\/em> sont lanc\u00e9s pour lancer \u00ab\u00a0Heckle And Jeckle\u00a0\u00bb, morceau qui a d’ailleurs fait l’objet du premier clip de The Automatists.

Nous arrivons petit \u00e0 petit \u00e0 la fin du set avec \u00ab\u00a0Be Honnest\u00a0\u00bb, et c’est \u00ab\u00a0The End Of The Way\u00a0\u00bb qui vient cl\u00f4turer cette tr\u00e8s belle prestation. Le groupe re\u00e7oit une tr\u00e8s belle ovation avant de quitter la sc\u00e8ne. Influenc\u00e9 par le rock noisy des ann\u00e9es 80 et 90, et des groupes tels que Killing Joke et The Cramps, la formation originaire de Thionville propose des rythmiques hypnotiques, des guitares incisives et stridentes. Le groupe a\u00a0<\/span>d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 son actif un premier EP 4 titres et d’autres enregistrements sont \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n

La tr\u00e8s belle ambiance impuls\u00e9e par The Automatists se poursuit avec l’\u00e9norme prestation propos\u00e9e par Frustration. Le set est lanc\u00e9 avec \u00ab\u00a0Insane\u00a0\u00bb. Bonsoir tout le monde !<\/em>\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Dreams Laws Rights And Duties\u00a0\u00bb am\u00e8ne ensuite une tr\u00e8s belle ovation. La guitare lance \u00ab\u00a0Midlife Crisis\u00a0\u00bb, et nous continuons avec \u00ab\u00a0Shake Me\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0We Miss You\u00a0\u00bb.\u00a0L’encha\u00eenement est fait avec \u00ab\u00a0No Trouble\u00a0\u00bb qui d\u00e9clenche une nouvelle salve d’applaudissements. La basse lance ensuite \u00ab\u00a0Uncivilized\u00a0\u00bb, et un morceau du nouvel album<\/em>\u00a0est annonc\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Just Wanna Hide\u00a0\u00bb. Merci beaucoup !<\/em> \u00ab\u00a0Even With The Pills\u00a0\u00bb est propos\u00e9 dans la foul\u00e9e. Celle l\u00e0, c’est top poilade<\/em>\u00a0! Nous avons alors droit \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0Cos You Ran Away\u00a0\u00bb. Le prochain morceau est celui qui a donn\u00e9 le titre au nouvel album : <\/em>\u00ab\u00a0Empire Of Shame\u00a0\u00bb !<\/span><\/p>\n

Merci beaucoup ! C’est la derni\u00e8re !<\/em>\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Mother Earth In Rags\u00a0\u00bb est envoy\u00e9, et le groupe quitte la sc\u00e8ne. Apr\u00e8s un rappel chaleureux, Frustration est de retour avec une petite nouvelle<\/em> : \u00ab\u00a0The Drawback\u00a0\u00bb. Le bassiste vient jouer \u00ab\u00a0Blind\u00a0\u00bb dans la foule, et \u00ab\u00a0No Place\u00a0\u00bb cl\u00f4ture cette tr\u00e8s belle soir\u00e9e. Frustration a r\u00e9ussi\u00a0 \u00e0 nous embarquer dans une sorte de transe, avec un m\u00e9lange de rock, de punk et d’\u00e9lectro. Belle ambiance ce samedi soir \u00e0 La Passerelle !
