Fran\u00e7ais vivant \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, Boris Paillard a fait du ska-punk, du rap, de la musique cajun et avec The Keys, il prolonge encore plus ce m\u00e9lange des genres. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C\u2019est sur la route que le songwriter a con\u00e7u son album, rencontrant en chemin des musiciens et enregistrant avec eux ce qui fait aujourd\u2019hui <i><b>Long Time No Sea<\/b><\/i>. De retour chez lui, il a eu le soutien de Leon Taheny (producteur pour Final Fantasy, Timber Timbre) et de Pierre de Reeder membre de Rilo Kliley, preuve que le Fran\u00e7ais sait bien s\u2019entourer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 42px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=3042307958\/size=small\/bgcol=333333\/linkcol=e99708\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/anotherrecord.bandcamp.com\/album\/long-time-no-sea\">Long Time No Sea by The Keys<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La musique de The Keys est empreinte de ces voyages (Guadeloupe, Etats-Unis, Canada) et m\u00eame au-del\u00e0,\u00a0le r\u00eave musical de son auteur semblant sans limite : il y a donc l\u00e0 des influences folk, rock, caraib\u00e9enne mais aussi jazz, africaine, klezmer\u2026The Keys ressemble parfois \u00e0 du <b>Beirut<\/b> d\u00e9brid\u00e9 (en mieux oserait-on le dire ?) ; le genre de projet qui fait bouger les lignes et qui montre qu\u2019entre les folklores d\u2019Afrique, d\u2019Europe de l\u2019Est et des Etats-Unis, il y a plus que des passerelles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Derri\u00e8re les cuivres, les cordes, les percussions, les choeurs, la plume fine et la belle voix du Fran\u00e7ais font le reste et permettent de tenir cette tour de Babel pour ne pas finir en pagaille.
