Un album\u00a0de Rock et de Folk, imagin\u00e9 par Jullien Arniaud (guitare, chant, claviers), Thomas Campion (batterie, percussions, choeurs), Vincent Fraschina (basse, choeurs), et Franck Etna ( Guitar side et choeurs), le petit nouveau de la formation.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fort de ses exp\u00e9riences sc\u00e9niques en premi\u00e8re partie de noms aussi prestigieux que\u00a0<strong>Peter Doherty<\/strong>, <strong>Johnny Winter<\/strong>, <strong>Les Hy\u00e8nes<\/strong> ou encore <strong>Skip The Use<\/strong>, le groupe a fait \u00e9voluer sa musique en s&rsquo;appuyant notamment sur les comp\u00e9tences de\u00a0<strong>Ken Stringfellow<\/strong>, connu comme musicien et arrangeur, au sein de formations c\u00e9l\u00e8bres telles que les <strong>Posies<\/strong> ou <strong>REM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"textesbio\" style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"justify\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 42px;\" src=\"http:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=1140726730\/size=small\/bgcol=333333\/linkcol=e99708\/transparent=true\/\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thehost1.bandcamp.com\/album\/sound-the-charge\">Sound The Charge by The HOST<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"textesbio\" align=\"justify\">Pas si loin, dans l&rsquo;esprit, de <em>Hey You<\/em>, leur premier titre en 2008 (sur\u00a0<strong><em>Burning Altamont<\/em><\/strong>),<em><strong> Sound The Charge<\/strong><\/em> r\u00e9v\u00e8le tout de m\u00eame un\u00a0son d&rsquo;une grande force, plein de nuances et de variations de rythmes. Une vrai maturit\u00e9, un \u00e9panouissement en quelque sorte ! Chaque titre se distingue par une m\u00e9lodie singuli\u00e8re et un refrain attractif (<em>Repear,\u00a0March&#8230;<\/em>), le tout dans une orchestration simple et efficace. Les arrangements sont excellents et donnent de la profondeur, de puissance \u00e0 chaque titre. Un son tr\u00e8s pro. La voix de\u00a0<strong>Jullien Arniaud<\/strong>, sur des textes en anglais, peut \u00eatre aussi bien m\u00e9lodique que rageuse (<em>L&rsquo;Aiglon, Why Would I, Moriarty<\/em>&#8230;). Le tout\u00a0apportant\u00a0une dimension internationale au petit groupe marseillais, qu&rsquo;on pourrait facilement rapprocher de\u00a0ses a\u00een\u00e9s anglosaxons auxquels le groupe tire ses influences (<strong>Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam&#8230;<\/strong>). <strong>The H.O.S.T.<\/strong> \u00e9largit d&rsquo;ailleurs souvent son spectre musical sur ce nouvel album, en se rapprochant du Rock progressif, du Grunge ou du Stoner, comme sur le titre <em>Stones From The Storm<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"textesbio\" align=\"justify\">Avec cet album fleuve compos\u00e9 de 13 titres, <strong>The H.O.S.T.<\/strong> nous offre de multiples occasions d&rsquo;appr\u00e9cier la richesse de leur musique, qu&rsquo;on rapprocherait sans h\u00e9siter de groupes tels que\u00a0<strong>Foo Fighters<\/strong>, de par leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 sch\u00e9matiser la musique, la r\u00e9duire \u00e0 sa plus simple expression, pour en faire ressortir l&rsquo;essentiel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"textesbio\" align=\"justify\"><em><strong>Un album men\u00e9\u00a0tambours battants &#8211; <b class=\"b3\">w<\/b><b class=\"b4\">it<\/b><b class=\"b5\">h drums beating &#8211;\u00a0<\/b>sur les Highways du Rock&rsquo;n&rsquo;Roll.
