The Shape of Drums to Come en est son premier album et a la particularit\u00e9 d&rsquo;avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 en situation de live. Un exploit si l&rsquo;on consid\u00e8re le fait d&rsquo;\u00eatre un projet solo, qui m\u00eale les rythmes d&rsquo;une batterie \u00e9pileptique \u00e0 des samples electro et un clavier. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans la continuit\u00e9 de groupes tels que <strong>Battles, Sonic Youth\u00a0<\/strong>ou<strong> Liars<\/strong>,\u00a0Davide Compagnoni propose un travail d&rsquo;exploration de la musique en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, et du Rock en particulier, en tentant de repousser les limites de la composition et de l&rsquo;improvisation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g0CIeiZDNqI\" width=\"450\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Avec <strong><em>The Shape Of Drums To Come<\/em><\/strong>, le projet <strong>Khompa<\/strong> s&rsquo;ing\u00e9nue \u00e0 explorer et m\u00e9langer les genres et les styles, sans mettre ni \u00e9tiquette ni fronti\u00e8re. Si les premiers titres, dont <em>Nettle Empire<\/em>, nous entra\u00eenent dans des contr\u00e9es Math Rock, les titres suivant \u00e9largissent progressivement le spectre, en s\u2019immis\u00e7ant dans des styles plus figuratifs, \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re d&rsquo;un compositeur de Bande originale de Film (<em>Upside-down world<\/em>).
