D\u00e9but 2016, nous avions eu droit \u00e0 un petit avant go\u00fbt du nouvel album de The Dandy Warhols avec l’extrait intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0You Are Killing Me\u00a0\u00bb. Le groupe de Portland\u00a0\u00e9tait ce soir \u00e0 La Cartonnerie pour nous pr\u00e9senter son nouvel opus, avec une premi\u00e8re partie assur\u00e9e par Happyness.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

HAPPYNESS<\/span><\/h2>\n

La formation d\u00e9barque sur sc\u00e8ne aux alentours de 20h30 et se pr\u00e9sente au public\u00a0: Hello, we are called Happyness !<\/em>\u00a0Le chanteur rev\u00eat de magnifiques lunettes de soleil en forme d’\u00e9toiles ! Les londoniens, qui \u00e9voluent dans la pop m\u00e9lodique, nous ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 leurs titres extraits de l’album Weird Little Birthday sorti en 2015. Le set est lanc\u00e9 avec \u00ab\u00a0It’s On You\u00a0\u00bb, et \u00ab\u00a0You Come To Kill Me ?!\u00a0\u00bb est encha\u00een\u00e9. Nous avons droit \u00e0 de la dream pop tranquille avec \u00ab\u00a0Orange Luz\u00a0\u00bb. Le single \u00ab\u00a0Anything I Do Is All Right\u00a0\u00bb est alors propos\u00e9 avec des guitares plus accrocheuses. Le nouveau morceau \u00ab\u00a0Friend Of The Rev\u00a0\u00bb poursuit le show pour nous amener tout doucement \u00e0 l’issue de ces 25 minutes. \u00ab\u00a0Pumpkin Noir\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Montreal Rock Band Somewhere\u00a0\u00bb viennent cl\u00f4turer le set. Fort d’un premier EP \u00e9ponyme sorti en 2014, 4 titres dont \u00ab\u00a0It’s On You\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Orange Luz\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Montreal Rock Band Somewhere\u00a0\u00bb, Happyness poss\u00e8de \u00e0 son actif l’album intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Weird Little Birthday\u00a0\u00bb et un nouveau titre sorti cette ann\u00e9e\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0SB’s Truck\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

THE DANDY WARHOLS<\/span><\/h2>\n

La sc\u00e8ne s’installe tout doucement, et les protagonistes d\u00e9barquent sur sc\u00e8ne. Le set est lanc\u00e9 avec \u00ab\u00a0Mohammed\u00a0\u00bb, extrait de l’album \u00ab\u00a0Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia\u00a0\u00bb sorti en 2013. C’est cet opus\u00a0qui est mis \u00e0 l’honneur pour le d\u00e9but du show avec \u00ab\u00a0Shakin’\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Get Off\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0Pope Reverend Jim\u00a0\u00bb est le premier morceau extrait du nouvel album \u00ab\u00a0Distortland\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0STYGGO\u00a0\u00bb est ensuite propos\u00e9, avant de repartir en 1997 avec \u00ab\u00a0I Love You\u00a0\u00bb, issu de \u00ab\u00a0The Dandy Warhols Come Down\u00a0\u00bb. Le morceau finit sous les stroboscopes. \u00ab\u00a0The Last High\u00a0\u00bb est alors encha\u00een\u00e9, amenant des applaudissements nourris. Le temps pour Courtney Taylor-Taylor d’allumer une petite cigarette, et nous avons droit \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0Plan A\u00a0\u00bb, avant les plus rythm\u00e9s \u00ab\u00a0Search Party\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0All The Girls In London\u00a0\u00bb. The Dandy Warhols vont ainsi parcourir leur discographie plut\u00f4t fournie et encha\u00eener les morceaux\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Dreamt\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0, \u00ab\u00a0Good Morning\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth\u00a0\u00bb. Le dernier single \u00ab\u00a0You Are Killing Me\u00a0\u00bb am\u00e8ne les titres phares : \u00ab\u00a0We Used To Be Friends\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Bohemian Like You\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Godless\u00a0\u00bb. Une ovation suit \u00e0 chacun de ces morceaux,\u00a0et c’est avec \u00ab\u00a0Pete International Airport \/ Boys Better\u00a0\u00bb que la soir\u00e9e se termine, sous les auspices de la pop psych\u00e9.<\/p>\n
